i know it may look like i'm dead, but i swear i've never felt so alive. being in a new place is scary and exciting and everything i could have hoped for. i miss my parents and dogs a lot.. and also a few select people. but it's really nice going to the store and not knowing anyone. refreshing, really. i've needed this in my life for so long. everyone should have an experience or two where they're really uncomfortable. in the end, it's comforting.
