as i'm sitting in the mcdonald's closest to my new home, i listen to all of the little kids running around and families having lunch laughing. it makes me nostalgic of home and my loved ones. having to rely on someone in a new city is a weird and new feeling and i can't wait until i get on my feet and start making friends. i'm not sure why sitting in a bustling place is calming, but it's definitely what my soul needs right now. on a side note, i am extremely grateful for free wifi.
